OBJECTIVE

The goal was to create a heartfelt, inclusive, and professional brand identity that resonates with parents navigating the challenges of raising a child with disabilities. The brand needed to balance empathy and warmth with credibility and trust, while also being versatile enough to grow with the business as it expands into vendor listings, events, blogs, and eventually an app.

WHAT WE DID

The project began with a deep analysis of current digital strategy and market positioning. Our team identified key opportunities to enhance brand visibility through strategic content marketing and influencer partnerships, aiming to authentically engage with both existing and potential .artificial is transforming industries across the globe.

We designed a full brand identity for Olivia’s Steps, including logo, typography, and colour palette. The design draws on symbols of community, support, and hope — with a logo that brings together footprints forming a heart, paired with a hand-drawn typeface to capture approachability and empathy. The rainbow-inspired colour palette was softened to remain vibrant but not overwhelming, ensuring appeal to both children and adults.

Work Process

  1. Discovery & Research — We began with an in-depth brand questionnaire and strategy session to understand the founder’s vision, the lived experience behind the platform, and the emotional needs of the audience.
  2. Concept Development — Using these insights, we explored design directions that reflected inclusivity, connection, and family support.
  3. Identity Design — We refined the chosen concept into a cohesive identity system, creating logo variations, typography pairings (Josefin Sans and Lato), and a rainbow-inspired colour palette.
  4. Guidelines & Application — A full brand guidelines document was produced, ensuring consistency across future touchpoints such as the website, vendor listings, and digital campaigns.

PROJECT RESULTS

The result is a warm, approachable, and professional brand identity that captures the essence of Olivia’s Steps — founded by lived experience, driven by empathy, and designed for community impact. The identity provides a strong foundation for launching the online platform and future app, helping Olivia’s Steps build trust, attract service providers, and connect families with the support they need.
